I was so excited to have my birthday a few days after we arrived in in London! Joe planned a few fun adventures for us and we checked a few things off our bucket list!
First we went to the gym, then took our first tube ride to head to the London Eye! But first we stop for pictures by Big Ben!
Then we headed to a fantastic lunch place for some classic fish and chips! And yet again, Eli slept through lunch. We did decide to wake him up once the food arrived, but it was an epic fail. He started screaming, but the sweet waiter gave him a sucker. Needless to say he didn’t eat any lunch because he was busy sucking on the sucker! Whoops!
Next up, the London Eye! And can I say FABULOUS?!? Joe bought tickets online before and we waited in line less than 5 minutes before we got on! And the views were AMAZING! Here comes 100 pictures now…

Instead of taking the tube back as planned, we decided to take a nice stroll and walk the rest of the afternoon slowly back to Kensington area. First up was Buckingham Palace, Nutella waffles, and “tookies”!
We strolled past Hyde Park, went shopping in Harrod’s for some birthday goodies, had too much fun we forgot to take pictures, got soaking wet because we haven’t mastered trecking in the rain, and ate dinner at a yummy Lebanese place right by our house! It was an amazing birthday spent with the two I love most!
London Day 3 Thoughts:
- I think 2 years is going to fly by so fast!
- The washer/dryer combo doesn’t wash or dry…
- I wonder how I can meet William and Kate?
