Monday was filled with lots of adventures with new friends! We explored the science museum again, which is always a hit with Eli!
And he also discovered the water table this time. Womp womp…. but he really didn’t get near as wet as he has in the past at these water areas (Flashbacks to changing a soaking wet toddler with new soaking wet leather boots in a tiny bathroom with my mom at the Arkansas Amazeum).
We came back home, attempted to take a nap which was a total fail, then headed out to the Kensington Library!
They have a great little children’s area where they can look at books and play in an open area!
While this one was great, I think we prefer the Old Brompton Library just because it’s a larger area that’s fenced in and there are books laying around everywhere on bean bags. At this library there was some pressure to keep all the books sorted in their designated area as, which is difficult to do with toddlers to say the least!
Great busy Monday with new friends!
Current Thoughts because I lost track of days:
- I finally feel like I can navigate effeciently pretty much anywhere I go.
- If it’s within 1.5 miles to walk somewhere, I just walk because it’s easier!
- Eli actually slept in until 8:30 this morning! Y’all this is a big deal here that he is now actually sleeping in more!
- I can’t wait for family and friends to visit so we can share our fun daily adventures with them!
